This garden surrounds the original stone house built in approximately 1824. The land, initially 200 acres, has been subdivided over the years and 2.5 acres remain. In fact, one of the other tour houses is built on land originally part of this property. The garden features an old milk shed with a free-flowing artesian well. Take a stroll along the dock and you may see a friendly heron basking in the sun or a majestic osprey fishing along the river.
